Pure Relaxation

About a week ago Jared and I went on a four day cruise to Cozumel, Mexico. My brother and his wife went with us and we had such a fun time. We went to Cozumel about four years ago and loved it, so we jumped on the chance to go again. The whole trip was spent laying out and totally relaxing. I have been really stressed out lately with being so busy, so I was super grateful to have a break and be able to just spend an entire day laying in the sun. It was blissful.

We played mini golf. I was the winner!!!

We ate way too many ice cream cones. We enjoyed every last sunset. We snorkeled like professionals and saw some amazing fish.
We marveled at the beautiful, crystal clear water.
But mostly we ate way too much food.

We sat by some amazing people at dinner each night. Dan and Della are from Tampa and Dan is a Marine. We found out that he is pretty high up the chain of command. He was very modest about it, but he finally told us that he only calls ninety people "sir". Everyone else calls him "sir".

My brother and his wife have never been on a cruise before and they ended up being a lot of fun. I think we even have them hooked! We are already talking about where we want to go next time.

haha, love the ice cream picture! You guys deserved that trip!

I read some of your old posts about Primary Children's. We were there for a little over a week with Beckett, and that got old.. so I can't imagine being up there as much as you guys have. I loved how you kept writing about having a good perspective though and staying spiritually minded. You're amazing!

Love your blog!

That looks like so much fun!! I'm sure it was a ton of fun to go with Talen and Amber too. I'm glad you were able to get away and take a break from everything.
